The BAC is delighted to announce the winners of the BAC Awards. The awards for the BAC Cataloguing grant, BAC Research Support Bursary and the annual Wadsworth Prize were announced at the BAC Awards Night event on 18 October 2022.

Registration is open for the eabh, in cooperation with the European Central Bank, workshop on GDPR and historical archives. The workshop will take place on 4 November 2022 at European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Archives Visitor Survey invitation 2022

The ARA National Surveys Group have opened invitiations to participate in the next visitors survey due to take place this autumn. The survey is an excellent means of obtaining feedback from those using on-site services. Please register by the 16th September if planning to start the survey on 3rd October, and there will be opportunity to register after this date for those wishing to run a shorter survey period.

Applications for 2022 Bursary for Business History Research now open.

BAC have announced applications for 2022 Bursary for Business Histroy Research. Awards are up to £1,000 and we may make one or more awards. The size of the pot makes it most suitable for smaller-scale projects, such as scoping or pilot studies, early-stage development of collaborations and exploratory work. Apply by midday on 16th September 2022.
