Application open for the TownsWeb Archiving digitisation grant 2020

TownsWeb Archiving will be offering a digitisation grant for cultural heritage organisations to digitise portions of their collection. This year they will be awarding three primary funding grants of £3,000, with shortlisted organisations receiving an optional £500 for match funding to put towards digitisation.  

The Grant can be used to fund the digitisation of bound books, manuscripts, oversized maps and plans, 35mm slides, microfilm/fiche, glass plate negatives and other two-dimensional cultural heritage media. Be aware that three-dimensional or audio-visual material is excluded from this grant programme. 

All applications must be submitted by 11.59 on 20 November 2020. The winners will be announced via Facebook Live and on the TWA blog on 9 December 2020. For full details please visit the TWA website here.
